Dr. Nonweiler graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Cum Laude from Baylor University in Waco, Texas with a bachelor of science in Biology. He attended the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas graduating with Alpha Omega Alpha medical society honors. He completed his orthopedic residency at the University of California, Irvine in Southern California. He went on to complete advanced fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopy at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada.
Before joining The Center, he was in private practice in Salem for ten years. While there he specialized in knee and shoulder arthroscopy. He was orthopedic consultant to local area high school sports team, and team physician for Corban College and Willamette University. He continues this interest and specialization in arthroscopy, sports medicine, and team physician care as a part of The Center.
