Fellowship Program
As a vast majority of athletic training jobs exist in school or clinical outreach settings, The Center Foundation has partnered with Oregon State University and Linfield College to sponsor a graduate Athletic Training Fellowship focused on the care and treatment of middle and high school athletes. Each year, the Foundation selects a top college graduate – all nationally Certified Athletic Trainers (A.T.C.s) – to participate in this hands-on program.
Participants gain valuable career experience by serving as an athletic trainer at Sisters High School for an entire year. In addition to working closely with students, coaches and parents, the Athletic Training Fellows benefit from coordination with the Foundation’s experienced physicians and trainers. In turn, the Athletic Training Fellows help maximize the level of service and individual attention provided to student-athletes through the Foundation’s Sports Medicine Program.
